Around PGH // Soergel Orchards: Weekend Recap

Created using Canva

Saturday we kicked off pumpkin-patch season with our first ever trip to Soergel Orchards in Wexford! Although it was a little warm for mid-October, it was an absolutely beautiful day to be outside, and we were more than excited to pack up and head out to one of the most-anticipated annual festivals in our area. According to their website, Soergel's Fall Festival has been a yearly tradition for the last forty years, and before we even got out of the car, I could see why so many choose to go to Soergel's for a day of family fun.

5 Fall Soups That'll Warm You Up!

October needs to slow down already! I've already really been trying to soak up every bit of Fall lately, because before I know it, Christmas will be upon us. I can practically hear you saying, "Dang girl, slow down it's not even Halloween!" but I think we ALL know that Christmas is going to come so much sooner than we all would like, since many stores are a juuust a little bit eager when it comes to hauling out the fake trees, festive decor, lights and ornaments. Our first pumpkin patch trip of the season is on the calendar for this weekend, and I am SO excited to take Ezra along to experience one of Jack and I's favorite Fall traditions. He's a tad too small to enjoy carving pumpkins and drinking apple cider, but I'm already excited to start making these sort of memories as a family of three.
